It’s so important to keep one energized in Life . Otherwise life would become stagnant and may feel like a burden . Energy is what keeps you moving . You get energy from food ,  rest , exercise , meditation and also feel very energetic when you accomplish something .

Energizers and Physical comforts are two different things . Suppose you buy a new car , you feel so excited that day and happy that you want to share your happiness with all your friends . But imagine if at the same time you happen to get a negative message from any of your friends or your boss calls for an immediate meeting at those odd hours , all that excitement and energy car had brought along , is suppressed. It is because that new car brought you physical comfort but didn’t energize you emotionally . Even if you say that it energized you then that was for only a short span of time .

Emotions play a bigger role in our life as they are related to our mind and heart . You have to find some ways which can energize you emotionally in a positive manner because those are the real energizers .


Have you ever tried  Fasting as one of the very good emotional energizers ?

I just sat down to think and jot down  my emotional energizers and here is what I found :

  1. Music is one of the best energizers for me . I love to put my headphones at night when all others go to their bed and I can have an uninterrupted songs time .
  2. Laughing with my friends energizes me so much , as acting even stupid with them is  allowed .
  3. I am not good at dancing but dancing energizes me a lot . I enjoy my zumba moves when nobody is at home. Hey i  can dance even like Shakeera when nobody is watching me .
  4. My writing boosts my energy and it is more enhanced when someone sends a good comment on my post .
  5. Travelling and exploring new places . I want to travel the world .
  6. Watching movies
  7. Experience new things – food , travel , adventure or learning new skill as little as making a butterfly with paper folding .
  8. Few minutes of daily prayer when I may not recite anything but just light a diya and sit with folded hands .
  9. Walking
  10. Quality to Let Go
